Subject: 2020 Report of the Ethics Committee and Considerations in Recommending Ethics Investigations

The Association's Ethics Committee has issued its annual report, which can be viewed here. It provides a summary of the Committee's activities and an addendum describing factors the Committee will take into consideration when recommending investigation to the full Executive Committee. None of the considerations therein should be viewed as requirements for an investigation, nor does the list compel or require the AEA to investigate any particular complaint. The Association is interested in receiving complaints from any member who is concerned that the conduct of another AEA member is in violation of the Code or Policy and harms the inclusion and free participation goals of the AEA.
