The 18th conference for the CAED will be held May 17-19, 2024 at the Pennsylvania State University.  The deadline for paper submission is March 1, 2024.

 

The conference provides a venue for research using firm and plant-level data on a wide range of topics, disciplines and countries.  It is a unique meeting place for producers and users of these data including statisticians, survey methodologists, economists, sociologists, and other social scientists working in academic institutions and statistical agencies. 

 

Keynote speakers are:  Peter Schott, Yale School of Management, who will speak on “Trade Liberalization and Labor-Market Outcomes,” and William Kerr, Harvard Business School, who will speak on “Immigration, Innovation, and Firm Dynamics.”
