Individual Papers

AEA members may submit individual papers for consideration. To increase the probability of inclusion on the program, individual paper contributors are strongly encouraged to use the AEA's EconHarmony to form integrated sessions. EconHarmony is open until April 1, 2026.  The deadline for submission of individual paper proposals is April 1, 2026; AEA membership is required.

Sessions

Paper sessions usually contain 3-4 papers, with no more than 5 papers, and most always have discussants. Authors are listed with each paper.  The deadline for submission of complete session proposals is April 15, 2026.

Panels

Panel sessions involve a moderator and a group of speakers discussing a given subject. The deadline for submission of panel session proposals is April 15, 2026. (Note: see Paper Sessions above for sessions including paper presentations.)
