The Arab Fund is seeking to recruit a senior economist. The Fund, a regional development financial institution based in the State of Kuwait, is committed to creating positive change in its 22 Arab member countries and help them achieve their economic and social goals by financing projects, providing grants, technical assistance and expertise.

Responsibilities
Conduct rigorous economic research, analyze data, and assess economic trends and outcomes.
Provide expert advice and guidance on economic development issues to stakeholders, and internal teams.
Assessing the impact and effectiveness of development initiatives and projects.
Contribute to the development of economic reports, white papers, and presentations.
Represent the Arab Fund at conferences, seminars, and other events, delivery presentation and engaging in thought leadership discussions.

What are we looking for?
Advanced degree in economics, a PhD is highly preferred.
Proven track record of at least 10 years in economic research, analysis, and policy development.
Strong expertise in macroeconomic analysis, econometrics, and statistical modeling.
Proficiency in utilizing economic databases, software, and programming languages.
Proficiency in English and Arabic are mandatory, and French is desired but not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, deliver high quality results, and meet deadlines.
