We are recruiting new and experienced PhD economists with strong quantitative research skills, research design experience, and knowledge of important domestic public policy areas such as education, workforce, food and nutrition, and children youth and families, or housing and asset building to join the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Capability team. As a member of the Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Capability team, you will apply general and specialized knowledge of principles and concepts in the field of economics to conduct research, monitoring, and evaluation at the highest levels of quality and rigor to generate evidence-based insights. We offer a diverse and collegial environment and are dedicated to finding solutions to the most pressing research challenges in human services, housing and asset building, public health, health care, criminal justice, and environment and natural resources.
Our work includes:
• Impact evaluation (randomized controlled trial experiments, quasi-experiments),
• Meta-analysis,
• Monitoring and surveillance,
• systematic evidence reviews,
• evaluation technical assistance,
• implementation and process studies, and
• community engagement and participatory research.
Our contributions—at all government levels—have resulted in better programs on housing, community revitalization, education, workforce development, income security, food assistance, and in support of children, youth, and disadvantaged families. Our clients include federal agencies, as well as state agencies, foundations, and nonprofit organizations.
