Banco de la Republica, the Colombian central bank, is interested in hiring a new or experienced Ph.D. economists to work as a researcher (equivalent to a tenure track position minus the teaching).

The main tasks of the potential candidates would be to carry out high-quality policy-relevant research, both for publication in refereed journals and to produce reports for the Bank's senior management. The areas of interest include industrial organization, international economics, applied microeconomics, and microeconometrics. Good command of spoken and written Spanish is desirable.
