Full Text of JOE Listing:
CEMLA is hiring a PhD in economics or finance to fill the position of Deputy Manager of Monetary Research. The main responsibility is to do research focused on macroeconomic and financial issues of relevance for Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition to analytical work for publication in prestigious journals, the tasks include partaking in joint research activities with the Center´s associates and collaborative members, the organization of international events ― including the annual meeting of monetary policy managers, and participation in the Technical Committee of CEMLA´s journals. Full command of English and either Spanish or Portuguese is required.
