The Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE, http://www.amse-aixmarseille.fr/en) is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in economics, with a specialization in international trade and/or development economics.

Applications in the following areas are especially encouraged:
- International trade, trade policy
- Firm and exporter dynamics
- Civil conflicts, natural resources and political economy

Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research and must have obtained their PhD when taking up the position in September 2016. The position is for two years, with a possibility of extension to a third year.

The Aix-Marseille School of economics groups two research centers in the area of Aix-en-Provence and Marseille (Greqam and SESSTIM). The School provides a high quality research environment and appropriate research funds for the post-doctoral fellow. Knowledge of French is NOT required.
