Bank of Slovenia, Slovenia’s central bank and a member of the Eurosystem, is interested in hiring four researchers who will be assigned to the Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy Department or the Analysis and Research Department.

The successful candidates would be expected to conduct high-quality policy-oriented research that will be focused on the interplay between the financial markets and the macro economy, macroeconomic and monetary policy issues, and financial market stability. The candidates also would be involved in economic modeling, writing reports, preparing briefings for senior management of the Bank, and carrying out other regular operational tasks of the departments.

Candidates should posses a PhD (or expect to complete by autumn 2015) in economics or finance. Candidates who do not have a PhD should have at least five years of relevant experience.
