Description:
Moody's Analytics Economics Division, located in West Chester, PA, is a leading independent provider of economic, financial, country, and industry research designed to meet the diverse planning and information needs of businesses, governments, and professional investors worldwide. The duties of an Economist include economic forecasting and analysis of countries, industries, and regions; preparing written analysis for the company's publications and our live commentary website; model estimation; contract consulting work, including proposal writing, model specification, estimation, and the writing of interim and the final reports; meeting with clients to discuss proposed and current projects; making presentations at our and industry conferences; and general client assistance. Economists also work as editors for subscription products and will participate in training of Associate Economists.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a Ph.D. degree or a Master's degree and three to five years experience. An excellent academic record is required. Job requires experience in macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis, technical writing, and economic modeling including E-views, SAS/FAME programming and VB. Training in econometrics is preferred.
