Beijing Forestry University (BJFU) is one of the first national "211 Project" universities, and a "985 Project Innovation Platform" university. School of Economics and Management has nine departments (forestry economics, international trade, business administration, statistics, accounting, finance etc.), ranking the top place in BJFU in the number of disciplines, majors and the students. Forestry economics and management is named National Key Cultivation Discipline, agricultural and forestry economics and management is identified as a National Characteristic Specialty by ministry of education.
